- 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 ounces)
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil (or 7 tablespoons melted butter)
- 2 large eggs
- 0.5 cup white chocolate melting wafers (optional, for dipping)
- Heart sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and eggs. Stir until a cohesive dough forms.
- Use a medium cookie scoop or a spoon to drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until set and no longer glossy.
- Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool. For an optional Valentineโs touch, melt about ยฝ cup of white chocolate and dip half of each cookie into it, then add heart sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
Notes
Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. They can also be refrigerated for up to two weeks or frozen for three months.
