- ½ cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
