Description
A quick and easy Korean dish featuring savory ground beef, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce served over rice.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- If there’s excess fat, drain it from the skillet to keep your dish from being too greasy.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the beef, stirring for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
- Serve the beef mixture over fluffy rice, and generously garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For additional flavor, consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or carrots while cooking the beef.
