Ingredients

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients. Mince the garlic and slice the green onions. Cook your rice according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
- Drain excess fat, then add garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the beef mixture over bowls of cooked rice, garnished with sliced green onions. Add toppings like sesame seeds or pickled vegetables if desired.
