Description

A delicious low-carb twist on a classic dessert that satisfies your sweet tooth without derailing your ketogenic diet.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated erythritol
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, then fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the filling over the baked crust and return to the oven for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares and store in the fridge.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or sugar-free ice cream for an indulgent treat. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
