- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a large pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add chicken thighs, cooking until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Pour in tomato puree and season with garam masala, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer the mixture for 15 minutes to meld flavors. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, simmering for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve hot with fresh cilantro.
