Description

Delightful jalapeño poppers with a spicy and creamy filling, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crumbled bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds using a spoon.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and crumbled bacon (if using). Stir until smooth.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing slightly to keep it in place. Roll in breadcrumbs for extra crunch if desired.
  5. Place stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a minute before serving. Enjoy hot!

Notes

Jalapeño poppers can be customized with various cheeses or without breadcrumbs for a healthier option.
