Ingredients
- Italian sausage
- Bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
- Onions
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Buns (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft.
- Remove vegetables from the skillet and set aside. Add Italian sausage links to the same skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes until browned.
- Slice cooked sausages into bite-sized pieces and return to the skillet with vegetables. Season with garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well and heat for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve in buns or on a plate as desired.
Notes
For extra kick, add crushed red pepper flakes. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
