Delicious pecan pie bars baked in a single sheet pan, combining rich flavors and a crunchy texture, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a sheet pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the corn syrup until combined. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt, then add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared sheet pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden brown around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares for serving.
