Description

Delicious brownies made with wholesome ingredients, using medjool dates for natural sweetness and almond butter for creaminess.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • Optional: chopped nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Blend the pitted medjool dates in a food processor until they form a sticky paste.
  3. Add almond butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor and blend until smooth.
  4. Stir in the rolled oats and any optional ingredients by hand.
  5. Spread the brownie mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until firm to the touch.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
