Ingredients

  • 12 ounces white chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • Optional: additional crushed peppermint for topping

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to set the dark chocolate layer.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in another bowl, stirring until smooth.
  6. Stir the peppermint extract into the melted white chocolate.
  7. Once the dark chocolate has set, pour the white chocolate over the dark chocolate, spreading it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the white chocolate layer, pressing them in lightly.
  9. Refrigerate until fully set, about 30 minutes.
  10. Break or cut the peppermint bark into pieces and serve.
