- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon espresso powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch square baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until cohesive, then press into the bottom of the pan to create a crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- In a saucepan, bring heavy cream to a simmer, then remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, espresso powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate filling over the cooled crust, spread evenly, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Allow the tart to chill fully for best results. Use a sharp knife dipped in hot water for clean cuts.
