Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and cocoa. Add milk and peppermint extract, and stir until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into patties.
- Place the patties in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate and shortening together until smooth.
- Dip each patty into the chocolate coating and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Let the chocolate set, then enjoy!
Notes
Ensure the dough is firm enough before rolling; add more powdered sugar if too sticky. Chill patties well before dipping to prevent them from falling apart.
