Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together.
- Add the warm water, yogurt, and olive oil to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough begins to form.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
- Preheat a skillet or tandoor over medium-high heat and divide the dough into small balls.
- On a floured surface, roll out each ball into an oval shape.
- Carefully place each rolled naan on the hot skillet and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Brush each naan with melted butter as it comes off the skillet and serve warm.

Store leftover naan in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to a month.
