Description

A delightful twist on traditional cinnamon rolls, this bread combines comforting flavors with the nutritious benefits of cottage cheese for a satisfying treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 cup icing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, yogurt, sugar, melted butter, and eggs; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, then add to the wet ingredients and stir gently.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling in a small bowl.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half the filling over it, and then add the remaining batter followed by the rest of the filling.
  6. Gently swirl the filling into the batter with a knife.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before drizzling with icing, if desired.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature eggs and avoid over-mixing to maintain fluffiness. Customize with nuts or chocolate chips for added flavor.
