Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs ground turkey (93% lean or higher)
- 1 cup prepared dry stuffing mix (e.g., Stove Top Savory Herb, crushed slightly)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 1/2 cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup celery (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lightly greasing it.
- Combine ground turkey, stuffing mix, chicken broth, egg, onion, celery, parsley, sage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Bake for about 45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Whisk together cranberry sauce, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar for the glaze. Spread it over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
Let the meatloaf rest before slicing to retain moisture. This dish can be served with mashed potatoes and green beans.
