- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Whisk together the flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Mix the melted butter, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and form them into small balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, giving them a little space in between.
- Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and sugar if desired. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
