Description

A vibrant and refreshing salad combining a variety of tropical fruits, perfect as a side dish or a light dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup kiwi, sliced
  • 1 cup grapes, halved
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon honey or lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your fresh fruits. Wash them thoroughly to remove any dirt or residues. Peel the bananas and kiwi, and slice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Drain the mandarin oranges if they are in syrup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, sliced strawberries, kiwi, halved grapes, and banana slices. If you want to add a little extra sweetness or a zesty note, drizzle the mixture with honey or lime juice.
  3. Gently toss all the fruit together using a large spatula or wooden spoon to avoid squashing the fruits.
  4. Once mixed, sprinkle the top with shredded coconut and serve immediately for the freshest taste. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Best if consumed soon after making.
