Description
A vibrant and refreshing salad combining a variety of tropical fruits, perfect as a side dish or a light dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup kiwi, sliced
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon honey or lime juice (optional)
Instructions
- Start by gathering all your fresh fruits. Wash them thoroughly to remove any dirt or residues. Peel the bananas and kiwi, and slice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Drain the mandarin oranges if they are in syrup.
- In a large bowl, combine the pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, sliced strawberries, kiwi, halved grapes, and banana slices. If you want to add a little extra sweetness or a zesty note, drizzle the mixture with honey or lime juice.
- Gently toss all the fruit together using a large spatula or wooden spoon to avoid squashing the fruits.
- Once mixed, sprinkle the top with shredded coconut and serve immediately for the freshest taste. Enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Best if consumed soon after making.
