Description
This Halloween Poke Cake combines the warm flavors of pumpkin with vibrant Halloween spirit, perfect for celebrations and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of pumpkin puree
- 1 package of instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of whipped topping
- Food coloring (orange and purple)
- Candy corn and other Halloween-themed decorations
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined. Stir in the pumpkin puree.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then poke holes in it using the end of a wooden spoon.
- Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, and pour it over the poked cake.
- Mix food coloring into the whipped topping and spread it over the cake. Decorate with candy corn and other Halloween-themed decorations.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Cake can be frozen for up to 3 months without toppings.
