Grilled Chili Cilantro Lime Chicken

Description

A delightful summer dish featuring tender chicken breasts marinated in a zesty blend of lime, cilantro, and chili powder, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, fresh lime juice, chili powder, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated in the marinade. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through at 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For more intense flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
