Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and browned.
  4. While the chicken cooks, prepare the tzatziki sauce by combining Greek yogurt, diced cucumbers, dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Season with salt.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest, then slice it thinly. Warm the pita bread, then layer in sliced chicken, tzatziki, tomato slices, and red onion rings.
