Description

Delightful and spooky stuffed mushrooms filled with creamy cheeses and herbs, perfect for Halloween parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 large button mushrooms
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Black olives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems, chopping them finely for the filling.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, chopped mushroom stems, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, filling them generously, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and tops are golden brown. Garnish with black olives as eyeballs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the filling. You can use vegan cream cheese for a dairy-free version.
