Description
Delicious Fried Potato Kibbeh Balls are crispy on the outside with a savory filling of mashed potatoes and bulgur wheat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup fine bulgur wheat
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Soak the bulgur wheat in warm water for about 30 minutes, then drain it well.
- In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, soaked bulgur, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing until well-combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls or patties, about the size of a golf ball.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, carefully add the kibbeh balls, and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Notes
Serve hot with a cool yogurt dip or zesty tahini sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
