Description

Delicious homemade egg noodles that are easy to make and perfect for any dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt thoroughly to ensure even distribution of flavors.
  2. Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and crack in the eggs. Using a fork, gradually mix the flour into the eggs, starting from the inner edge of the well.
  3. Once the mixture starts forming a dough, begin kneading it with your hands. If the dough is too dry, incorporate water little by little until a smooth, elastic texture is achieved. Knead for about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, typically about 1/8 inch. Cut the rolled dough into your preferred noodle shapes.
  5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully drop the cut noodles into the boiling water and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until they float and are firm yet tender.
  6. Drain the noodles and serve them hot with your favorite sauce or dish.

Notes

Use fresh eggs for the best flavor. Don’t rush the kneading process for a smoother texture.
