Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar; whisk until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the canned pumpkin, milk, melted butter, and egg; stir until smooth.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
  5. Drop heaping spoonfuls of batter onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
