- 4–6 tbsp BBQ Rib Rub (total)
- Favorite BBQ sauce (optional)
- Pellet Grill Pellets (e.g., hickory)
Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat your pellet smoker to 225°F (107°C) and prepare the ribs by removing the silver skin membrane.
- Seasoning: Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of BBQ rib rub on each side of the ribs.
- Cooking: Place the seasoned ribs in the smoker and let them smoke undisturbed for at least 4 hours.
- Finishing: Check for doneness with the bend test, continuing to smoke if necessary.
- Optional BBQ Sauce Glaze: Brush a thin layer of BBQ sauce on the ribs once they pass the bend test, then return to the smoker for 30 minutes.
- Serve: Slice the ribs between the bones and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
Let the ribs rest for about 10 minutes after cooking for moister meat. Experiment with different wood pellets for varied flavors.
