- 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Additional Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Before serving, top with additional Oreo cookies if desired.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Make sure to chill the cheesecake properly for best results.
