Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and add lemon zest. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir in fresh parsley and cook for another minute.
  5. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
