Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the egg until smooth. In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken piece in the flour, then the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. For baking, place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway. For frying, heat oil and fry nuggets for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in buttermilk. Use crushed cornflakes for breadcrumbs. Ensure oil is hot enough when frying.
