- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the egg until smooth. In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece in the flour, then the beaten egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- For baking, place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway. For frying, heat oil and fry nuggets for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in buttermilk. Use crushed cornflakes for breadcrumbs. Ensure oil is hot enough when frying.
