Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or rice for serving
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are browned.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
Notes
For thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce before serving. Feel free to experiment with different mushroom varieties for varied flavors.
