Description

Delightful and fluffy dinner rolls infused with rich garlic butter, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons garlic butter (melted)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Allow the mixture to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add the melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture, stirring to combine. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough, divide into small balls the size of golf balls.
  6. Place the dough balls in a greased baking dish, brush the tops with melted garlic butter, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add herbs like rosemary or thyme to the dough. Store rolls in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months.
