Description
A delightful dish that brings together a medley of fresh, vibrant fruits; perfect for Easter and any festive gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 cups pineapple, diced
- 2 cups grapes, halved
- 1 cup kiwi, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preparation: Wash all the strawberries, blueberries, and grapes thoroughly under cold water. Hull the strawberries and slice them in half. Dice the pineapple into small cubes and chop the kiwi into bite-sized pieces.
- Mixing: In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruits. Toss them gently to ensure they’re evenly mixed without crushing any delicate berries.
- Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and lime juice until well combined. This dressing will enhance the flavors of the fruits and add a hint of sweetness.
- Finishing: Pour the honey-lime dressing over the mixed fruits. Gently toss the salad once more to coat all the fruits in the dressing. If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and flavor.
Notes
For any leftovers, store the fruit salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Allowing it to chill for 30 minutes can enhance flavor melding.
