Description

Crispy bites filled with creamy crab cheesecake, perfect for summer parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Sweet and sour sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place about a tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, fold it over to form a triangle, and seal the edges tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat and fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.

Notes

Use fresh crab meat for best flavor; imitation crab works too. Ensure oil is hot enough before frying.
