- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish and place the chicken on top.
- Spoon the remaining marinara sauce over the chicken, then spread a layer of cottage cheese on top.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
For added texture, try using panko breadcrumbs before baking. Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add vegetables between the chicken and sauce.
