Description

A simple and delicious banana bread recipe that’s perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth and stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt, then add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for better sweetness. Avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.
