Description

A rich and creamy dessert combining chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, topped with nuts and whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 1 cup crushed nuts
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • Drumstick cones for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix package instructions. Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed, then bake the cake in your chosen pans. Let the cake cool completely after baking.
  2. Once cooled, carefully cut the cake horizontally into two equal halves. Place one layer on a serving plate, and generously spread a thick layer of vanilla ice cream on top.
  3. Drizzle the first layer with chocolate fudge sauce and sprinkle some crushed nuts over the top for added crunch. Place the second layer of chocolate cake on top and repeat the process with the ice cream, sauce, and nuts.
  4. Frost the top and sides of the entire cake with whipped cream. Decorate the cake with chopped Drumstick cones, scattering them creatively over the whipped cream. Place the cake in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours until firm.

Notes

For best results, let the cake cool completely to prevent melting ice cream. Use room temperature ice cream for easier spreading.
