  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the creamed butter and sugars, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chunks.
  4. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges look set but centers are slightly soft.
  5. Let cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
