- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly blended. Set aside.
- In a larger bowl, mix together brown sugar, eggs, yogurt, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the dry ingredients over the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Portion the batter into lined muffin cups, filling each one to the top. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Let them cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
