  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare ungreased baking sheets.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set; cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
