Description

Deliciously creamy and flavorful deviled eggs, perfect for any gathering or as a delightful snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Drain the hot water and cool the eggs in ice water for about 5 minutes.
  4. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mash until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chives or parsley if desired.
  7. Serve chilled.

Notes

Use eggs that are a few days old for easier peeling. Prepare a few hours in advance and store them in the fridge until serving.
