- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup whipped topping

- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for about 15 minutes. Poke holes all over the cake with the end of a wooden spoon.
- In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup, then pour it evenly over the cake.
- Once cooled completely, spread the whipped topping over the cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips, and garnish with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
