Description

A delicious Croissant Breakfast Casserole combines buttery croissants, creamy eggs, and savory meats for a delightful breakfast everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham or bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully combined.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the torn croissant pieces at the bottom. Evenly distribute the diced ham or bacon and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant mixture. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes to soak in.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly golden. Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions or parsley, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use half-and-half instead of milk. Experiment with different cheese types for varied flavors.
