- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup diced cooked ham or bacon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully combined.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the torn croissant pieces at the bottom. Evenly distribute the diced ham or bacon and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant mixture. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes to soak in.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly golden. Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions or parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
