Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the freshly made orange sauce over the top, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry. Stir this into the crockpot sauce and cook for an additional 15 minutes on high to thicken it. Return the shredded chicken to the pot, mix well, and enjoy!
