- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup capers
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat with flour.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer browned chicken to the crockpot.
- In the skillet, combine chicken broth, lemon juice, capers, and garlic powder, then bring to a simmer.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until chicken is fork-tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
