Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dredge each marinated chicken thigh in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Toast the sandwich buns and assemble the sandwiches with fried chicken, lettuce, tomato slices, and mayonnaise. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in the flour mixture before frying.
