Description

A deliciously unique dish that elevates your average chicken dinner with crispy chicken, tangy feta cheese, and sweet, spicy hot honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry and pound them to a uniform 3/4-inch thickness.
  2. In the first dish, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In the second dish, place the beaten eggs, and in the third dish, add the panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Sprinkle feta over the chicken, transfer skillet to the oven, and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Drizzle hot honey over the chicken and garnish with parsley. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
