Instructions
- Slice the onions into rings and separate them.

- Dip each onion ring into the buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere, and dredge in breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat and fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove the onion rings from the oil and drain on paper towels.
