- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the fish fillets into finger-sized sticks.
- In one bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each fish stick in the flour mixture, dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the fish sticks for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Make sure your oil is hot before frying for a crispy texture. Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
