Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the angel food cake into bite-sized pieces. Aim for uniform pieces to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it’s hot but not smoking. Carefully add the cake pieces in batches, frying until they are golden and crispy, about 1-2 minutes on each side.
