Description

Delightful thin French pancakes that can be customized with sweet or savory fillings, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  2. Add the melted butter, salt, and sugar (if using) to the bowl, mixing until well combined. Let batter rest for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, lightly greased. Pour a small amount of batter (about 1/4 cup), swirling to coat. Cook until edges lift and bottom is golden, about 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for an additional minute.
  4. Repeat with remaining batter, stacking crepes on a plate. Serve warm with desired fillings or toppings.

Notes

Crepes can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in a skillet over low heat.
